Its geodynamic evolution since Triassic times up to Present is summarized below. It comprises: - A rifting episode during the Triassic and Liassic; - A post-rift episode of thermal subsidence and Tethyan oceanic accretion from the Middle Jurassic up to the Late Cretaceous;
