Automated Building of Thin-layered Velocity Model Using Well-log and Seismic Exploration Data

A technique for geological model building has been developed which aims to use well-log data and supplementary seismic exploration data for refining the geometry of geological strata in the mid-well space. The use of the method is illustrated with a modeling example from the profile on Bilousivska field (North-West part of the Dnieper – Donetsk Depression, Ukraine).
