Abstract

Summary

The article presents reservoir forecast of Chokrak formation (middle Miocene) deposits of West-Kuban depression. Presented depositional model, according to which the reservoirs are formed deep-water fans. Briefly presented criteria seismic faces forecast of reservoirs. Discussing problems of a similar seismic wave form, arising in a different depositional environments. Also offers methods to minimize the uncertainties of exploration wells, which based on classification analysis of the seismic faces.
