Abstract
Seismic Acquisition and Interpretation has been widely used in the oil and gas industry in reservoir characterization and management. 3D seismic is becoming prominent in the industry in guiding well drillings and discovery of new field for exploration and development. 4D seismic, basically two time-lapsed 3D seismic within a same acreage, became the next generation in the Geophysics Discipline in 1990s. 4D seismic has been proven useful to determine difference in fluid saturations, bypassed oil, or any subsurface changes particularly during the production phase of a field. 4D seismic interpretations offers a better regional understanding, often beyond the capability of what the production wells and production data could explain.
