B026 Application of Pre-stack Wave Equation Depth Migration in North West Europe Introduction 1 Travel-time based PreSDM methods are known to only image only part of the wavefront in the presence of high velocity layers or complex/rugose structure. For such environments in the Gulf of Mexico and more recently offshore Angola wave equation PreSDM has proven to be beneficial yielding significantly improved imaging.
