f Evidences on the Deformation of the Lithosphere During Cenozoic Rifting in the Upper Rhinegraben System

Various data sets from seismic near-vertical and undershooting experiments collected in the Upper Rhinegraben area during the last decade show pronounced lateral variations of the deeper crustal properties. Significant differences in thickness of the transparent upper crust and the reflective lower crust appears to be related to differential crustal evolution.
