Abstract

Effective maximum exploitation of hydrocarbon accumulations requires not only a full, understanding of reservoir poroperm characteristics, but also a knowledge of reservoir distribution and continuity at both regional (exploration) and field (production) scales. The growing need to increase ultimate recovery requires that the engineer and the geologist work together to accurately depict reservoir character and geometry.
