P34 HIGH RESOLUTION 3D SEISMIC AS A GUIDE TO IMPROVE THE GEOLOGICAL MODEL TFT-WEST FIELD ILIZI BASIN ALGERIA Abstract Summary 1 The giant Tin Fouyé Tabankort (TFT) Field is located in the South Ilizi Basin in Algeria about 1000 km South of Algiers. The main objective is the Ordovician tight sands reservoir (infill of paleo-valleys by glacial deposits) sealed by the Silurian shales which produce oil and wet gas. The TFT gas cap was discovered in 1961. Its size is of about 300 GSm3. Its production operated by the Groupement Tin Fouyé Tabankort (GTFT) started in 1999. The current production
