WATT Abstract 1 Veritas DGC Multicomponent Applications Group 10300 Town Park Drive Houston Texas 77072 USA Multicomponent 3-D seismic data were acquired in the Anadarko Basin USA. The multicomponent recording spread used a single 3C digital sensor per station embedded in a conventional 3-D 1C survey. Converted-wave (PS) data were recorded from reflectors exceeding 14000 ft in depth. The conventional P-wave structural image is similar to the PS image but differing reflectivity indicates there is additional information to be extracted from the
