Abstract

A stable method for calculating 3D-3C seismic reflected and transmitted wavefields in a horizontally layered anisotropic viscoelastic medium is derived. It makes use of delta-operators, the sixth-dimensional Stroh formalism and the Haskell-Thomson matrix
