T046 SEDIMENTARY ARCHITECTURE OF THE SILURO-DEVONIAN SEQUENCES IN ILLIZI BASIN (ALGERIA) I. Introduction The aim of this paper is to present an example of a cratonic sedimentation during the Siluro- Devonian time in the Saharan craton. The particularity of sedimentation during this time is related to the morphology of Saharan basins climate and tectonic setting. This study consist of the caracterisation of the Siluro-Devonian sedimentation from field exposures in the “Tassilis des Ajjers” core and log data from drillholes in the Illizi basin II.
