P102 CALIBRATED VECTOR FIDELITY AND COUPLING MATRIX MEASUREMENTS Summary 1 A complete set-up and procedure for vector fidelity calibration has been created and validated by Thales Underwater Systems. This set-up is a valuable tool for quantitative assessment and optimisation of multicomponent sensors and also brings insight on pre-processing methods for vector fidelity correction. Introduction Repeatability and fidelity of the coupling of multicomponent sensors with the seabed is generally considered as an important issue. Nevertheless despite many experiments have been done in the field and published on the fidelity of various types of seismic sensors little is known on the physics
