Summary:
When applying multiple suppression techniques to the processing of seismic data, the real objective is to minimize the remnant multiple energy. Such energy can be of large amplitude and may mask primary energy in an unpredictable fashion. Here, we propose a method which utilizes multiple suppression techniques to develop 'difference' and 'confidence' sections which are superimposed on processed data as colour overlays.
