Abstract

D-51 PROCESSING TIME-LAPSE MULTI- COMPONENT SEISMIC FOR IMPROVED REPEATABILITY - GULLFAKS Summary 1 An evaluation into the processing issues for improved repeatability in time-lapse studies for Ocean bottom seismic (OBS) was carried using a repeated multi-component dataset acquired over the Gullfaks field during which a managed pressure decrease occurred. Introduction The use of conventional marine streamers for time-lapse seismic (Landrø et al. 1999) is now an established tool for reservoir monitoring and management purposes. Marine streamer case studies dealing dealing with the concepts of acquisition processing and interpretation for both qualitative and quantitative analysis have been presented for several years
