Abstract

C-32 MODEL OF HC GENERATION AND ACCUMULATION APPLIED TO PROSPECTS OF CASPIAN DEEP WATER PART 1 Summary Results of modelling of zones of HC generation and accumulation in the most subsided central part of the South-Caspian oil-gas bearing basin allow to predict the presence of large source of oil and gas generation reaching to 10 km on the extent as well as the existence of numerous lithological traps formed as a result of facial heterogeneity of deposits and repeated change of depositional environment in the section. It allows supposing the presence of large HC accumulations and fluidflow in this part
