Abstract
In Seismic imaging, the influence of the angle between the acquisition azimuth and the main axis of geological structures has been well known for a long time (Levin 1971). Many analytical studies have been undertaken but rather few on real cases (Bullwinkle 1993). This azimuthal sensitivity is enhanced in complex tectonic, leading to complex rays trajectories.
