Abstract

The distribution of acoustic impedance in lower-Maykopian sediments within Subbotina field using seismic inversion is obtained. Based on the acoustic impedance volume sandiness coefficients and open porosity distribution are calculated. The obtained results are used to calculate a volume of complex parameter that shows of high-quality reservoir properties distribution. According to the acoustic impedance result the layers of clay-rich and high sand-rich sediments are separated, which corresponds to two zones of acoustic impedance. An integral characteristic of acoustic impedance is obtained within the two zones, which allows us to predict the directions of consolidation and decompaction of lower-Maykopian sediments within Subbotina field. Acoustic impedance zonation of the low Maykopian terrigenous sediments on the Subbotina field has made a precondition for future reservoir sands properties investigation of the Ukrainian Kerch Shelf.
