F-03 BUILDING GEOLOGICAL MODELS OF A COMPACTING RESERVOIR Summary 1 An integrated team consisting of geoscientists and engineers from the operator and partner companies has taken the challenge to build three different models of the compacting Ekofisk Field chalk reservoir. These included: A 1971 model to reflect how the field looked at production start a present day model is built for well planning and drilling purposes and an intermediate model represents the first 3D seismic survey (1989) timeframe.
