The Hague The Netherlands Introduction. In thrust and fold belts subsurface structures or HC discoveries often lie in complex geologic areas at great depth. The well costs can be very high as well the cost of continuous coring and therefore the amount of available subsurface data to understand the lateral and vertical distribution of facies is scarce. One of the
