E-29 3D MULTI-PATHING AND TRUE AMPLITUDE KIRCHHOFF PRESTACK DEPTH MIGRATION SUMMARY 1 We implemented a multi-pathing Kirchhoff prestack depth migration. The migration retains the efficiency and flexibility of traditional Kirchhoff migration while overcoming its drawback that only single-valued travel times can be used. When the multi-pathing arises in complex media the illuminations at a depth point is generally irregular even if the data acquisition geometry is regular. Preserving the migration amplitude can further improve the image quality of the migration because it can partially regularize the illumination. Our migration scheme carefully handles the amplitudes and is intended to produce angle-dependent
