Abstract

P286 Ground TDEM applied to massive sulphide exploration in the Mundo Novo Greenstone Belt Bahia Brazil Summary 1 Mundo Novo Greenstone Belt (MNGB) is a volcanic-sedimentary sequence that forms part of the São Francisco Craton in Brazil. Airborne geophysics consisting of TDEM magnetic and radiometric methods indicated an anomaly in Fazenda Coqueiro Area where the complete sequence of the MNGB is present. Geological geophysical and geochemical reconnaissance follow-up and drilling was undertaken to assess the possibility of a prospective zone. Two of the wells crossed a massive zinc sulphide body. So the airborne anomaly was further detailed in an area
