Online Tracking of Oilfield Exploitation Based on Integration of Drilling Data, Surface and Well Seismic

The methodology of well seismic exploration, while online tracking of oil and gas fields’ exploitation, is covered. This methodology has found wide application in Russia for refining structure around a well during planning stages of exploitation wells. This process represents an alternate drilling sequence, well seismic works, change in drilling based on the received results, seismic works in new wells, etc. The objective of this method is achievement through functional geological interpretation of well seismic data in conjunction with the drilling results, geophysical well exploration and surface seismic.
