Abstract
This case study describes the workflow of geostatistical inversion project which lead to estimation of detailed reservoir model. Studied area is located in Timan-Pechora oil basin. Main reservoir is composed of carbonate with mainly matrix porosity type. Two seismic dataset supplied for this project were judged on the basis of deterministic full stack inversion results and the best of the volumes was used for geostatistics. The technology of geostatistical inversion enables us to produce a highly detailed reservoir model which is in full agreement with well data on one side and seismic data on the other side. Reliability of the model in interwell space was confirmed by blind well tests.
