F-22 CONTINUOUS PROGRESS IN PROCESSING MULTICOMPONENT DATA - A CASE STUDY Abstract 1 In this paper we will describe how the continuous progress in multicomponent processing is helping to overcome some of the challenges faced in processing OBS (ocean-bottom seismic) data. We will also show how the application of new techniques enables us to reveal more information from the data than the seismic images themselves.
