DOBRÓKA 1 2 Abstract 1 The Weighted Generalized Series Expansion method (WGSE) is proposed for the inversion of DC geoelectric data measured above 2D structures. In the algorithm approximate (locally 1D) forward modeling is applied with the parameters calculated in the framework of the WGSE approach. It is shown that the WGSE inversion method is quick stable and accurate giving highly acceptable estimate for the parameters of the laterally changing model.
