Abstract
The porous rocks which partially saturated with gas and water are considered in this paper. The properties of solid frames are calculated according to the data from Gomez et al. (2010). And seismic attenuation and dispersion characteristics of these porous rocks are obtained based on the theory which developed by Dutta et.al (1979). For the same porosity, we analyse the relationships between the features and the scale of rock sample, seismic frequency, and gas saturation. Attenuation and dispersion with different scales are compared at specific frequency 30Hz and gas saturation 10%. Additionally, the variations of attenuation and dispersion to porosities are present by considering rock samples with the same size b=0.5m.
