Abstract

Summary

As well known, the Black Sea basin is one of last exploration frontiers close to European market and it is still immature one despite of 40+ years of exploration efforts bearing high share of geological risk. The study presents an analysis of recent exploration efforts made and features new prospecting trends to search for deepwater hydrocarbon accumulations in the basin.
