Abstract

Summary

Enhancing resolution of seismic records is one of the important procedures during seismic data processing, which play an important role on the subsequent processing and interpretation. Given the assumption of traditional enhancing resolution method that the seismic signal is stationary does not meet the actual situation, the enhancing resolution method in S transform domain is presented in this paper. In S transform domain, we obtain the time-varying amplitude of wavelet by polynomial fitting, low-pass filtering and multi-channel statistical weighting, which can reflect the attenuation trends of seismic wave propagation, and enhancing resolution operator can adapt to the changes in SNR. Model test demonstrates the correctness and effectiveness of this method.
