Abstract
Harmonics noise is widely concerned in slip sweep acquisition. Methods of correlation and inverse correlation can be used in uncorrelated data according to the harmonic characteristic compared with the fundamental. This time-frequency characteristic is reserved in correlated data which can be used for harmonics estimation. The method is not relied on the force signal and it does not require uncorrelating correlated data. The method use harmonics signal which is correlated by the synthetic harmonics with pilot to correlate with correlated data to obtain the focus of harmonics energy. Harmonics can be obtained by inverse correlation for the muted harmonics energy.
A slip sweep data simulated by flip flop data was used to test the method.
