Abstract
The reliability of geoelectric parameters estimation in the south of Siberian platform is an important issue that allows on the one hand investigating polarizability of sedimentary cover as a hydrocarbon indicator, on the other hand it complements significantly to EM data inversion. The inverse problem algorithm is run as a fully automatic multistage process which includes priori data inputs like an initial resistivity model, polarization settings and depth constraints. As a result of that approach the clarification of initial data is performed and a final geoelectric model is derived. The technique that is being discussed in the paper has been tested at one of 3D license block at Nepsky arch and proved to be a valuable exploration tool.
