Abstract
Summary
In what is the largest PRM project to date 700 km of seismic cable were manufactured and deployed on the Snorre and Grane licenses, a platform supply vessel was modified for seismic utilising a containerised source, and the first seismic was shot at both licenses. This was achieved in less than two years. The PRM project was also accelerated by twelve months compared to initial plans. To achieve these it was recognised early on that an effective project organisation, combining both engineering and subsurface skills, was needed. This was an organisation, which both could navigate the decision making process, but also apply the experiences from other Fast Track projects.
