Abstract

Summary

In what is the largest PRM project to date 700 km of seismic cable were manufactured and deployed on the Snorre and Grane licenses, a platform supply vessel was modified for seismic utilising a containerised source, and the first seismic was shot at both licenses. Two partial surveys have been acquired at Snorre and one full survey at Grane. Levels of non-repeatability are in the order of 40% on raw shot gathers, and early 2D stacks clearly inidicate that both the Snorre and Grane reservoirs are visible in the data. It is early days of PRM for these two licenses, but initial observations are promising.
