Abstract

Summary

Considering that most geophysical problems are nonlinear, an increasing number of intelligent algorithms for solving a high-order matrix with great efficiency have taken the new trend in pre-stack nonlinear inversion. However, the complex geology in sub surface produces significant difficulties in acquiring accurate fluid properties. This paper presents the evidence that only relying on the existing intelligent algorithm itself, we cannot directly obtain the satisfying results of Rp,Rd,Rs and Vp/Vs based on Zeoppritz approximation equation at the same time. Therefore, we propose a modified method using Chaotic Quantum Particle Swarm Optimization (CQPSO) algorithm with hybrid iterative constrains to produce more precise seismic elastic parameter profiles, which is critical to oil and gas prospecting. Synthetic and field data demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed modified method.
