Summary:
Geostatistic is applied to help mapping reservoir quality with well log as primary data and seismic amplitude as secondary data. The reservoir was deposit di shallow marine environment generating sub-marine fan. Mapping was began by separating the sand from shale and making a discrete lithology log. The relationship between lithology and seismic attribute was given by correlation coefficient and/or probabilistic analysis. Lithology distribution was predicted by using Truncated Gaussian Simulation. Different quality of reservoir was known from various test result at each well. Therefore reservoir quality mapping was needed and generated using Sequential Gaussian Simulation. Variogram given by data analysis didn't perform well so the write made a new variogram by predicting trend of reservoir distribution. The key of this process ti a well-predicted correlation between seismic and well log and probability analysis. This study generated a few reservoir map, porosity map, and reservoir quality map that can be used to identify hydrocarbon accumulation and to get a volumetric of GIIP prediction. The maps also showed that the reservoir develop better to the south east rather than north west.
