Abstract

Summary

We will share insights we have developed within Shell with the acquisition and processing of this broadband data. Our broadband processing workflow focuses on getting the most signal out of the 3–8Hz bandwidth on conventional streamer data. Whereas, our high definition (HiDef) processing aims to improve overall bandwidth to obtain vertical and spatial resolution in the shallow region. In the paper, we show examples of data acquired in the Malaysia region. We will share our broadband processing results on conventional NAZ data, whereby a 3D deterministic de-ghosting method has been implemented. We will also share our HiDef processing for improving shallow imaging using acquired NAZ broadband data.
