Abstract

This paper describes the developed software module for the evaluation of forward watercut growth that can automatically carry out an individual estimation of the development for each element of the waterflooding system. This tool is useful for diagnosis and forecast of forward watercut growth of production wells for fields developed with a waterflooding system. A method of diagnosing zones with probable forward watercut growth can detect critical deviation, make quick changes to the system of waterflooding system and to avoid oil production loss.
