Abstract

Summary

We propose a coherent simultaneous shooting scheme, where the blended signal remains coherent in all sorting domains. This enables pre-processing (such as denoising, NMO) prior to source separation, but makes conventional separation methods not viable. The proposed simultaneous scheme resembles the source array acquisition, with the difference that the output of the source array is decimated in practice. Corresponding to this view, we propose a separation method, which first interpolated the recorded blended signal, and then recover the source signal through deconvolution. The deblending result can still bear the residual imprint of the source array, which, through a judicious acquisition parameter design, works to our beneft in preventing the reconstruction of aliased noise.
