Abstract

Summary

We performed sedimentologic, petrographical and petrophysical analyses of cores from Horn river shale, Canada. According to the analysis results, formations with higher contents of quartz and subordinating LM-1 and HM facies shows larger pores and higher porosity, and the reverse is true.
