Abstract

Summary

Improved processing algorithms and the emergence of new procedures designed to improve the quality of seismic images and to obtain more information about the subsurface structure, will inevitably lead to necessity of including this information in the interpretation process. Seismic interpreters have to try utilizing that information. Here we consider the examples of untypical seismic information, which became available in recent years, as well as the extent to which it is used in the interpretation process.
