Abstract
Summary
A comprehensive engineering approach based on use of geomechanics, geosteering and petrophysics makes well construction safe and efficient at any stage of field development. This integrated approach is applied while drilling itself, at the stage of its planning and preparation, as well as by a detailed elaboration of well completion processes and procedures. The real-time support based on the described method gives a synergy that significantly optimizes a well construction process at all stages. This methodology implemented into the software “Geonaft” allows use of a unified platform for the full cycle of support at the well construction.
