Abstract
The purpose of the work is to study and assess the possibility of allocation of anisotropy effects in azimuthally anisotropic and orthorhombic media objects on a fractured-directed type of reservoir based on the exact numerical solution for the reflection coefficients of the plane p-wave. The algorithm for accurate numerical solution of the reflection coefficients of the longitudinal plane wave at the interface of two elastic media with arbitrary anisotropy was developed. For the purposes of determining the applicability of the approach to the inverse problem solving was made calculation of synthetic seismograms of common reflection point were built using a full-wave and ray method on models of fractured carbonate sediments and the basement of one of the areas of eastern Siberia. The authors demonstrated a disparity between the azimuthal gradient based on exact solution and Rüger approach, which leads to errors in the estimation of fracture density in high-contrast media.
