Abstract
Summary
Bazhenov abnormal sequences were formed in neocomian time with viscoelastic slides and slumps of submarine sediment slope, those had eroded and deformed slope’s toe protobazhenit. Gas hydrate cementation of deposits is physical restriction for their soft deformation. Gas hydrate thermodynamic stability condition in upper part of sediment can be estimated only within a complex paleogeographical reconstruction. Bazhenov abnormal sequence’s occurrence zone can be explained with West-Siberian neocomian paleobathymetry and paleotemperature.
