Abstract

Summary

SCPT is the combination of cone penetration testing and acquisition of S-wave accelerograms at assigned discrete positions within geological profile. Paper describes application of SCPT at the practice of offshore geotechnical investigations, advantages of the method and data interpretation. Paper presents authors experience of offshore SCPT investigations.
