Summary

The geological structure of the field is required to create 3D petrophysical model. In any uncertainty of the geological model, the 3D model is create for each geological scenario. Forward modelling is done for each case. the comparison of initial and synthetic curves acts as quality check of the geological model, at the same time updating the geological model of the field. The main advantage of this approach is that the correct reservoir properties are being acquired as a result of this inversion.

In another words, the complex approach for horizontal wells interpretation with 3D petrophysical modelling, involving multiscale information; allows the user to update geological model and correct formation properties. At the same time, the updated geological model is used for well trajectory correction for well placement goals.
