Abstract

Summary

I define the mapping operator for moveout in tilted 3D medium. The proposed operator is applied for orthorhombic medium with rotation by using 3 Euler angles. It allows to define the kinematic properties in tilted orthorhorhombic medium, and can be used to map any of moveout approximation originally defined for vertical orthorhombic medium.
