Abstract

Summary

An novel viscoaoustic wave equation with decoupled fractional Laplacians has been recently developed on the basis of constant-Q model. In this paper, we propose a robust viscoaoustic wavefield reconstruction method using time-reversal checkpointing and k-space filtering in the framework of this equation. Such reconstruction scheme will facilitate geophysical applications such as Q-compensated reverse time migration (Q-RTM) and possible Q-velocity joint full-waveform inversion (Q-FWI) by relieving extensive data storage and burdensome disk input/output (I/O). Numerical examples further verify the validity and efficiency of the proposed approach.
