The Main Tectono-sedimentary Domains of the Pyrenees

This presentation covers extensively the whole area located between the Charentes, in France, to the North, and the Ebro Basin, in Spain, to the South.It aims to describe components of the very contrasted Petroleum Systems (P.S.) in this area, where there has been more than 60 years of hydrocarbon exploration and production: structural framework and geometry of the P.S. ingredients; type of generative systems;trapping mechanisms; conditions for the main petroleum successes /failures in the periphery of the Pyrenees.
