Abstract
Developing gas condensate reservoirs include drilling in the minimum stress direction, completing wells with cemented liner, perforating in clusters spread-out across permeable intervals as identified by open-hole logs, and fracture stimulating. The optimal method to complete the well is to design the perforation cluster location, length, and total number of clusters needed to treat the entire interval. To make the process time efficient and cost effective, the clusters have to be combined in sections so that a single stimulation treatment can cover a number of clusters and possibly a long interval without compromising stimulation efficiency. The ND materials are sorted and adjusted along with the CPP. The small fractures within the reservoir are treated with well sorted, small size ND materials. These work as leakoff prevention and allows single fracture propagation. The bigger size ND materials are used to divert the fluids from one cluster to another, thereby ensuring each cluster is treated separately and uniform distribution of the treatment is achieved. The pumping of ND materials are synchronized with CPP rate so as to shut down small fractures and enhance effectiveness of the dominant fracture.
