Abstract

Summary

This work pursue to study a novel method to solve the poor resolution of density curve of thin-interbedded reservoir condition, and the method of multiscale wavelet transform on density logging is investigated. Particularly, the hided information of thin layers in curve are extracted and compensated. Case study in oil field shows that the study can provide a new data processing method for the evaluation of thin-interbedded reservoir by using density logging.
