Abstract

Summary

The state and the problems of geoinformational support of water resource management, especially groundwater, within cross-border regions of Ukraine according to EU water legislation requirements are considered. The necessity to consider the technologically impaired interconnection between surface water and groundwater when setting the limits of cross-border water masses, assessing the quality of natural waters and the factors of their changes is justified.
